Nintendo Game Boy: Pokemon Red/Blue

Nintendo is a very successful gaming company. Its success stems from the games they’ve created. Some are mediocre, but many are memorable. One particular game of note is the Pokemon series.

If you’re familiar with the tv show, Pokemon, this cartoon shows you that there are a lot of monsters out there that you can collect. The Nintendo Game is exactly like that. You, as a Pokemon Trainer, should go out in the vast world to collect as many Pokemons as you can.

The Game Boy version of the popular tv show has two variants: Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue. These are just their titles, but there are certain differences between the two.

The Pokemon Red version has a variety of Pokemons that are not present in the Blue version. Such Pokemons are Ekans, Arbok, Oddish, Gloom, Vileplume, Mankey, Primeape, Growlithe, Arcanine, Scyther, Electabuzz.

If you don’t want these Pokemons, you can always choose to buy the blue version. The Pokemons that you can catch that are exclusive to the blue version are Sandshrew, Sandslash, Meowth, Persian, Bellsprout, Weepinbell, Victreebel, Vulpix, Ninetales, Pinsir, Magmar.

Pokemon Red came in first, while Pokemon Blue was originally a special version of Pokemon Red. Thus, there was a slight variation in the Pokemons you can catch.

The Nintendo Pokemon Red and Blue is a third-person, turn-based RPG game. Basically, you need to venture the vast world in order to defeat different Pokemon Trainers and you can also gain some of their Pokemon as well.

So, what about the gameplay? As mentioned before, the game is a turn-based RPG, wherein you battle different trainers or Pokemons. You will then have a choice on the Pokemon you want to battle against the opponent.
