After only four months, Grand Theft Auto V is being removed from Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft’s on-demand gaming service. But his big shoes are filled with big hitters, whose one and only Underworld. here is all will arrive on Xbox Game Pass in the coming weeks.

As always with Game Pass, big additions mean big departures. Still, Grand Theft Auto V, a 40-hour game that was just added to the Game Library in April, will no longer be available on the cloud or on console after August 8. And the following will be leaving service on August 15:

  • monkey outside (PC)
  • Cross souls (PC)
  • Darksiders Genesis (Cloud, console, PC)
  • Don’t starve (Cloud, console, PC)
  • Final Fantasy VII (Console, PC)
  • Train Sim World 2020 (Cloud, console, PC)

Grand Theft Auto VRockstar’s sudden departure follows a trend for Rockstar games. Last year, Red Dead Redemption 2 spent only four months on the service, which may be enough time for powerful players to wade through the whole thing, but not enough for average people to probe every nook and cranny of its sprawling world. The same goes here for GTA V. Having said that, I guess anyone who wanted to have played these games to the death already.

But, hey, that just means more time to play more games. Personally, I can’t wait to check it out Curse of the dead gods, a neat looking roguelike that’s been on my radar for some time. In addition, it apparently has a Dead cells sequence. We can’t get enough Dead cells.

Yet everything on the register turns pale olympian shadow thrown by Underworld. I played Supergiant’s ridiculously entertaining roguelike on my Switch, which is mainly portable. And now, in a few days, it will be available in 4K 60 fps on my Xbox Series X? Goodbye, August. You were fun while you lasted.
